John Wolfe built and lived in this little house with his son. They traveled out here from Ohio because he had a bad leg from the the civil war and thought that higher and dryer climate would be better for his leg so they lived here. What I want to know is how they got up there to begin with. Hmmmm. : )
We saw this lizard. : )
This is The Three Wise Men arch
This was part of the trail to the D. Arch. But not the hardest part. I didn't get a pic of that part. Oh well.

Taking a break.
More of the trail.
And more.
And more.
See we did make it. : )
Here is the view from that view point above. Amazing what God has given to us.
We went to Moab for our weekend. We went to the Delicate Arch. It was really awesome. It was probably the hardest hike that we have done with the kids thus far. But sooooo worth it. I talked to the kids about how when we do hard things that the prize in the end is well worth the work it takes to accomplish those hard things. And used the Delicate Arch as an example. We were so close to turning around and saying forget it but we didn't and it was well worth the effort. Here are some pictures. I will put more up tomorrow. Soooo tired. Night all.

Arches is my favorite place ever!!! We took Mallorie to Delicate Arch once. We were crazy, she was barely two and walked the whole time because Matthew and I were taking turns carrying newborn Lola. We also had to put a harness/leash on her because we were afraid that she would fall off and luckily we did because she was way faster than either of us and we would not have been able to keep up with her.
LOL That is funny
Cool! And a good time to go, not too hot!
